Brian Hodgson

Brian started his career in publishing in 1984 in London at The Guardian Newspaper and worked at News International in Australia before moving to Hong Kong in 1990. After 13 years in the industry, he started his first company in Hong Kong in 1997. It was acquired two years later by a US-listed company and he stayed on to manage the business which included an auction division. He attended a US Auction school and gained valuable experience working at two multi-million dollar auction companies. In 2006 he founded Hong Kong Auctions Limited. Brian has been a past TV chat show host and represented Hong Kong on a number of occasions in public speaking contests.
